Teaching activities
One of the Mi-EIS aims is to assists in the modernisation of teaching methods. Hunan University is one of the lead universities in China and uses very advanced teaching practice. The consortium partners have experience in teaching in large classes (200 students) as well as small group practitioner based teaching.

The Mi-EIS team developed a framework of teaching methods to assist in the selection of teaching methods in different situations. Extensive experiential sharing has been gained through activities in the project.

Pilot courses at Cranfield University and University of Twente
Cranfield and Twente ran two pilot courses to test the use of teaching modules and to learn from the practical experience in the running of the course.

Teaching methods workshop at Hunan University
The teaching method workshop took place at Hunan University in China. During the workshop a group of 26 teachers showed and explained different teaching methods and developed views on the usefulness and usability of these methods in different educational, institutional and regional contexts.
